Flavour:
Kiwi, strawberry wine aromas and a very intense, crisp, “apple” flavour. Very juicy.
Neat History:
Bred at the Morioka, Japan in 1937 by crossing Jonathan x Worcester Pearmain, and popularized in the 70's. “Tokyo Rose” was a term for English-speaking, Japanese female radio broadcasters during the Second World War and has been applied as a nickname for the apple.
