Eating, Sweet, Low-acidity. 

            The Ambrosia apple was discovered right here in the Similkameen Valley, BC, only a few km away from our nursery.  It is a purely sweet and honey-like apple with very low acidity, with a medium crispness, and tender, smooth skin. It is a medium sized apple that is bi-coloured, with a pink-hued orange/red blush over a cream background.  This varietal is also relatively vigorous. Good disease resistance, with mild susceptibility to fireblight.
