Physical Attributes:

• Shape: Medium conic, knobbly and irregular
• Skin: Greenish-yellow with brown welts, knobs, and bumps
• Flesh: White-golden. The dense, fine-grained, dry flesh is slow to brown

Flavour:

          Rich and intensely fruity aroma with a balanced sweetness and acidity, unlike other russets.

Neat History:

          Presented in 1820 by Haslar Capron of Midhurst, Sussex. It has since been miraculously preserved in the Brighton Permaculture Trust collection
